Training
Training is an important part of learning practical skills needed to use a chainsaw and climb/operate in the canopy of a tree, from first time users to professionals.
We offer training in all aspects of chainsaw use and tree climbing
We are able to offer Lantra training courses or tailor made TREE SKILLS courses
These courses are suitable for occasional users and professional. The courses are usually aimed at achieving national recognized vocational qualifications in level 2 and level 3 awards from Lantra or City and Guilds NPTC.
We are able to organise assessments.
We can also adapt courses to suit your training needs and timescales.
All courses can be run at our sites in Cumbria or at a location convenient to you
If you are competent we can arrange a day’s coaching to get you ready for the assessment in your chosen skill and organise the assessment or we are happy just to arrange an assessment for you leaving the training up to you.
